Elizabeth, admittedly, did not know too many people at the party. But Delsin had invited her along, and she wasn't going to say no to joining him at a holiday when he wanted her to be there. Holidays in general still felt new to her, even though she'd been around to see most of them in the city now. She understood the general idea of it, of enjoying the company of family and friends, which she liked to think was enough no matter what she went to.
It was perhaps that knowledge that she found herself a bit distracted. It'd been ages since she'd talked to Booker, and a part of her felt like perhaps she could just - perhaps she could try to send him a message on the phone, at least. Delsin had left to go get some food a bit ago, and she found herself, for the moment, sitting on one of the couches. It seemed as good a time as any to try to put together a small text, so she took out her phone and was about to begin typing. A few moments later, she noticed someone looking like they were needing a seat.
"Do you need me to move over?" she asked with a quick smile, already shifting a little just in case. There was more than enough room for one more.
