Last State of the Pups for 2k14
Dec. 31st, 2014 06:49 amState of Me: Since about Thanksgiving-ish I've been tagged out. And I'm really sorry to everyone, like, really sorry. I'm not usually one to drop things. Something happened in the past month and a week or two where my brain wasn't into it. But it is now, so I'm ready to start fresh :) The podcast is on semi-hiatus; we record every other week when the show is off the air. So that gives me less on my plate until March. My brother, his wife, and my 21 month old nephew are living with me and it's kind of insane, but doesn't impact much RP wise.
Regina:
That gif? That's Regina and Robin in the City for the most part. The heart thing though, man, that heart freaked her the hell out and put that self doubt back into her head. There are times she hears her mother saying 'you foolish girl' because love and happiness have always eluded her and wanting power should trump all. Regina tries not to live like the other shoe is going to drop any time; the heart changed that. I think a certain page xxiii is going to show up for Robin and that might help solidify things for her, though it will open up her life for questioning and analyzation - in a good way. Hope is something she'll be able to not scoff at anymore. I'm waffling between canon updating her and not. I'm on the 90% sure not canon updating her side of things so I don't think it'll happen. If it did, even though she and Robin are separated now in canon, he chose her so it wouldn't change much of how she feels about them. Other than having this sinking feeling that they're destined to always be apart.
She's really forging ahead in her relationship with Henry and Emma in game, both of those are strong, and in regards to a possible canon update, that would make the three of them stronger as a familial unit.
I don't think I'll have an EP for her soon, but I will say that if the magic school thing winds up coming to fruition, she would love to be a part of that as a full time job. I'mma stop saying she's going to age down for a plot because every time I do it gets pushed back.
Michonne:
Not a whole lot going on with her. She should get a job but after living a life for a while of not needing much to survive, the money she gets from the city is enough for her. She can eat and she can be clean. Not much else she needs. I think she, Carl, Rick and Judith are mostly all staying together? I think. I'd love for her to have some more threads with canon mates - there shall be no canon updating for her - and she'll have an EP soon. What she'll be doing in that EP, I have no actual idea.
Neal:
He for sure needs to get a job because he wants to provide for Henry, be able to contribute to things he needs, etc. etc. I'd like to have a little more with both him and Robin and him and Emma. For sure, for sure Henry threads where they just hang out and do stuff. Neal also needs to just meet people and will have an EP soon.
I would love, like more than you know, for a great Rumple to come into the game. The potential there is so great and that would open up the floodgate of emotions. Any ideas for an occupation are welcome, I'm thinking a bar, probably.
